The Arrata Opera Centre
Facility Rental Information
IIn July 2005, Calgary Opera acquired a 10-year lease on the Wesley United Church. In acknowledgement of a generous gift from local business leader and philanthropist Said Arrata the facility was renamed the Arrata Opera Centre. When it is not in use for Calgary Opera projects, we make it available to other non-profit companies for rehearsal, performance, special events, or production. This year’s events are inspired by the Canadian premiere of Little Women, exploring a variety of themes raised by the story and the era.
