Director Ann Hodges sets Handel’s high adventure fairy tale in the 1930s where a royal wedding has just been announced. Princess Ginevra is to marry the dashing Ariodante. Duke Polinesso also has his eye on the princess, and he’s not about to let her go without a fight.
