LiveRush Calgary enables fulltime high school, college, and university students to purchase last-minute tickets to performing arts events at a greatly reduced price. Calgary Opera offers $20 tickets in the platinum, gold, silver, and bronze categories at the Jubilee Box Office one-hour prior to each mainstage performance. For more information or to obtain a LiveRush Calgary membership visit LiveRush Calgary
We offer a 20% discount off the adult rate for groups of ten or more to our mainstage productions (not applicable to subscriptions or already discounted tickets). Group discount tickets cannot be purchased online. To purchase Group discount tickets please contact the Calgary Opera Box Office.
Subscription tickets can be replaced if lost. To replace lost subscription tickets phone 403-262-7286.
Ticket exchanges for another night of the same performance can be made for subscription tickets free of charge. Single event ticket holders can exchange their tickets for a fee of $3 per ticket up to 24 hours prior to the performance. There is a special "last minute" exchange fee $5 to exchange tickets less than 24 hours prior to the performance. To exchange performance nights bring your tickets in hand to the Calgary Opera Box Office (Arrata Opera Centre, 1315 - 7 Street SW) at least 24 hours prior to the performance night of your tickets or the night you wish to exchange to, whichever comes first.
Opera tickets make great gifts! You can always give your tickets to a family member or friend. You may also donate your ticket back to the Opera. You will receive a tax-deductible receipt for tickets that are returned 24 hours before the performance date.
We cannot exchange tickets after the performance has passed. Exchanges must be made in advance and require that we are able to sell the tickets that you cannot use. If you cannot make a performance (and you are a subscriber) it is imperative that you exchange your tickets at least 24 hours prior to the performance date on your ticket.
We´re sorry, but we do not refund performance tickets.
Dress rehearsals are reserved exclusively for schools (groups of ten or more) and volunteers. If you are a teacher and would like to book tickets please email eforrest@calgaryopera.com. For more information on becoming a volunteer please contact Averil Cook at acook@calgaryopera.com.
