Meet the famous hunch-backed jester whose love for his precious daughter Gilda is the one thing in his lamentable life that causes him the greatest joy and ultimately the greatest grief. You'll wish you could warn him to cap his temper and hold his tongue but, as fate would have it, he is unable to retract the curse that eventually robs him of his dear Gilda and leads him to destroy his beloved. Glynis Leyshon (Vancouver Playhouse) returns to direct a highly theatrical new production of this renowned tragedy, with Rigoletto's world created by award-winning designer Bretta Gerecke.
