Calgary Opera is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to be our new Database and Ticketing Manager. This position requires a high-level understanding of organizational priorities and the ability to distill them into effective sales, data capture and analysis, database maintenance and reporting strategies for a variety of internal stakeholders. They will also play a role in the development and execution of ticket sales, market segmentation, pricing, fundraising and customer service strategies. The Database and Ticketing Manager is specifically responsible and accountable for the oversight and operation of our CRM (Tessitura) including overseeing training and compliance, execution of our ticket and pricing builds, online ticket sales and donations management, and data analysis and reporting.
The Audience Services Coordinator is a key member of the Calgary Opera team and requires exceptional communication, customer service and sales skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment. The position is responsible for handling day to day in-person and over the phone ticket sales, batch reconciliation, data entry, mailing preparation, as well as acting as receptionist and other administrative and marketing support tasks.
Calgary Opera is looking for a Marketing and Communications Specialist to play a key role in the execution of market segmentation, digital advertising, analytics, communications, and campaign measurement strategies, as well as the day-to-day management of the website, e-mail marketing, digital analytics and social media channels. The Marketing and Communications Specialist is specifically responsible and accountable for content creation (photo, video, and copy), social media community management, paid marketing fulfilment, marketing partnership fulfillment and direct e-mail marketing.
