SCHOOL TOURING PRODUCTION

In alternating years, Calgary Opera’s McPhee Artists bring the excitement of live opera to schools across Calgary and southern Alberta. These fun, fully-staged productions are crafted especially for young viewers and provide students with a deeper understanding of classical music, operatic singing, creative storytelling and the history and traditions of opera.

STUDY GUIDES

Each performance is accompanied by an in-depth study guide to help integrate opera into the classroom curriculum and a post-show audience discussion to deepen the students’ engagement.
