Put yourself or someone you love in the centre of the action backstage, or even onstage, by bidding on our lineup of exclusive, priceless experiences. Your bids directly support Calgary Opera’s work to bring opera to Southern Alberta communities, provide opportunities for developing artists and performers, engage learners of all ages with opera, and create a more connected, creative society.

These experiences are truly priceless. Please note that, in line with Canada Revenue Agency’s guidance, charitable tax receipts will not be issued to winning bidders. Take your seat among members of the Calgary Philharmonic in the orchestra pit and watch for subtle clues and up-close interplay from conductors Jonathan Brandani and Daniela Musca, the singers on stage, and the orchestra. A rare opportunity for a truly unique performance perspective.

    Each package includes: seats for two people in the orchestra pit and complimentary lounge access at one Calgary Opera performance this season.

  • Don a headset, take your place in the wings, and enjoy the ultimate backstage experience! Winning bidders will watch a Calgary Opera production from the wings while listening in to our stage manager call the show – a rare and illuminating glimpse at what goes into making the magic onstage possible.

    Each package includes: Seats for two people backstage and complimentary lounge access at one Calgary Opera performance this season.

  • A true spotlight experience! As a non-singing member of the cast of The Barber of Seville, you will see first-hand the intricate and collaborative creative process of producing and performing opera.

    One package available for the highest bidder.

    Package includes: Costume fitting with champagne and photo plus four appearances onstage at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium, and all the applause you’ve ever wanted.

    The winning bidder must be available for three rehearsal sessions between April 6 and 10, 2026, evening dress rehearsals April 13, 14 and 16, and performances April 18, 19, and 24, 2026.
