Have you ever wondered how we choose the singers who grace the stage of the Jubilee Auditorium? Opera performers spend their early career travelling around the world to audition for chorus membership, ensemble positions, and solo roles.
Join General Director & CEO Sue Elliot, Chorus Director & Artist-in-Residence Mark Morash and Head Coach & Associate Chorus Director Emily Hamper for an insiders’ look at the audition process. You’ll enjoy a tune-up of listening skills through a few audio taste tests, discover the criteria Emily and Mark use to evaluate singers, and…if you have a little courage to spare…the opportunity to audition for a non-singing role.
This event is free to attend for Impresario and Friend-level Members;
