What do stories sound like? You get to decide! Explore the multicultural soundscapes in our city in this interactive, family-friendly music and story play-along.

Each story is about 25 minutes long, and there will be a short intermission with interactive activities between each story to allow audiences to come and go!

Come for one, two, or all four stories!

Hear the Legend of the Drum, as told through Indigenous traditional story written by Rob Hunter of the Peepeekisis First Nation in Regina Saskatchewan.

The Tale of Maya, Who Loved to Sing

Come with Maya on an adventure over a rainbow! This story is based in Ukrainian folk narrative, and audiences will experience sounds and instruments unique to this culture.

A brave young girl encounters a monster the village aunties have warned her about.  This charming tale of friendship is based in Zambian storytelling tradition.
