Omatsuri Calgary Japanese Festival Opening Ceremony

- Part of Summer on 17th, featuring sidewalk concerts along the 17th Ave BIA

Taste of Italy
- When: SUN SEP 13, time TBC
- Where: Bridgeland-Riverside Community Association
- Back by special request! Join soprano Anna Pompeeva and tenor Spencer Britten, who perform Italian opera and musical theatre hits as we celebrate a Taste of Italy!

- It's free! Join us for Summer on 17th, as Calgary artists Nicole Leung and Tayte Mitchell offer a free sidewalk concert.
Story in Motion: Creative Dance & Voice
- When: starting TUE SEP 22 6:00–7:30 PM
- Where: City of Calgary Recreation
- This is a 9-week class run through the Wildflower Arts Centre, running Tuesdays from 6:00–7:30 PM and Saturdays 3:00–4:30 PM. Opera teaching artist Chelsea Woodard and dance artist Darya Pestrak work with students aged 10-12 to create an original dance piece, integrating voice, creative storytelling, and visual arts on a theme related to our family-friendly opera, Pied Piper, onstage NOV 13-22. Children will attend a dress rehearsal performance of Pied Piper. Registration opens JUL 28.
