Erin Corbett

Erin Corbett studied opera at the Royal Academy of Music in London, England and had a modest performing career for several years in the UK. Her final production was with Calgary Opera in the role of Mercédès for the 2007 production of Carmen. Shifting her professional focus to the non-profit business sector in Calgary, she enjoyed a rewarding career in Development including a formative tenure at Calgary Opera. Ultimately, she completed studies in education and leadership and for the last 15 years has led independent schools in Calgary & Toronto. She is now in her fifth year as Head of School & CEO at West Island College Society of Alberta (WIC), an independent grade 7-12 school. In addition to Calgary Opera, Erin is a Board Director for the Association of Independent Schools & Colleges of Alberta (AISCA).
