Stories That Sing!
Join us online TUE JUN 30, 4:30-5:30 PM for Calgary Public Library's Creative Explorers: Stories That Sing! Create a musical story from start to finish — characters, plot, melodies, sets, costumes, and even vocal warm-ups. You'll put it all together and perform your very own opera scene! Calgary Opera steps into the culinary spotlight: on THU JUL 9 as part of the Taste of Stampede Community Showcase! Soprano Helen Hassinger joins a fun and flavourful showdown against Calgary Philharmonic trumpeter Adam Zinatelli, with a celebrity chef leading the event live on stage.
